Butterfly Fun _ MoJo82









Dont you just love this new butterfly paper from DCWV. The moment I saw the paper I knew I would need to do a card with it and uses one of my stampin up butterfly. The two went so well together.

I was on my friend blog the other night and saw a link to the OCC challenge . This was the first time using this set. I have been wanting to use this for a couple of weeks now. I used Copic markes on the image. I have only used them a bit. But I sure do like them already. I will have to practice more on my coloring in skills with the copics. But they sure do blend nicely.

New Blog Design

Well I just have to say that the new blog design I add last night just didnt work for me. Since I knew those were not the colors at all. It was bugging me so I decided to start over. So this is really it and actually I love it alot. I think its my favorite of all the one I have posted on my site. Tomorrow I will have to get in and post a new card. So be looking for that. Great Friend MoJo Monday 81

This has been such a busy week seamed like I wasent able to get as many cards posted as I would have liked to. I did how ever get my new design made for my blog. How ever the camera for some strange reason did not get the accurate colors of the banner. So when I have more time to re take them and play with my camera you may see this set in a whole new light. I eneded up having to pick out a whole new background in totally differnt colors then was planned. This is what I came up with. What do ya think? At least it look soft and ready for spring. I was getting tired of reading on the black background and thought you might be too. So I need a change. The card that I made was inspired by my colors that my blog was to turn out like. As you will see my blog colors are nothing like that at all. Thanks to my camera!!! It got to be some sort of setting.

I have some really great friends and I bet you do to. It is always nice to have a great friend. I have a special friend that has been going through a tough time right now. Having to give up so much for some one she loves dearly but always giving so much in return to whom ever she come in contact with. Never thinking about her self but always thinking about others. This card is for here to let her know how much I appriciate the great friend that she is and for all that she does for me.

Yesterday I started making this card with a friend and we ran out of time to finish my card. I ended up changing out some stuff on my card and decided to add stickles and brads. Both cards were my idea. It was fun to have a friend come over and play. The flower was colored in with copics.
I have made some other birthday card but will post them at a later date. I am in the mood for something new and different. So I will be using other sets. Hope you enjoy looking at my new card.

Are all these cupcake making you hungry for a cupcake or a pice of cake. One of my favorite birthday cakes was fudge marble. My mom would always make that for my birthday. But another favortie cake she made was her lemon cake with fluffy white frosting and toasted coconut. Insde the lemon cake was a yummy lemon pudding. This was one of the family's favorites. My mom would make this alot and we would be loving every bite of it. Another family favorite was her german chocolate cake. She would make a special sauce that went on top of the coconut icing. It would be layed on there in stripe that were at an angle. How divine was this cake. She always made these cakes mostly from scratch. We were very lucky to have a mom that would make special cakes for our family. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you come back often. Sweet Cakes

This is the fourth card I have made for my birthday week. Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. Too busy making the rest of the birthday cards. Today was the actual day we celebrated the girls birthdays. They all seemed to have a great time and loved their cards. It was fun to have all different cards. I will have a few more to post as I made 7 cards total for the birthday week. But today I found three new cupcake stamps. So I guess the birthday week will drag on into next week.
