A Perfect Day

Welcome to another week at my blog . This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday we are being sponsored by Busy Beauties Boutique. They have such fun digis. You will want to go check them out. I used this sweet image of the boy and girl. They are sharing a bit of apple. I thought this was such a sweet image. I had lots of fun designing with this image. It was fun picking out my paper. Don't you just love how these colors turned out?

I bought this fun paper at the Scrapbook USA Expo. It came in a paper pack and my sister Judi and I split it in half. It has some of the cutest papers in it. I really love most of them. Can't wait to make more cards with this pack. The pack is from Scenic Route Paper Company.

I hope you will come on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and join us in our Sketch Challenge. Our prize for Busy Beauties Boutique is three free digis. I hope you enjoy creating with my sketch. I love making them to inspire you with your creativity. Have a berry sweet day and thanks for the sweet comments.

School Colors

Another week gone by and I am here to post my Sweet Sketch Wednesday post. Seems like by the time I do everything to make SSW run each week,  I never have time to post any other cards during the week. Sometimes I wonder how my design team does it all too. This week we have one of our very favorite sponsors Digi Stamp Boutique . Sally Ann has such fun images and comes out with new ones all the time. I want to thank Sally Ann for sponsoring us every month.  This month she had this darling cat in a graduation suit. I knew I had to do that  even though  we have a dog and not a cat.  It was just to adorable to not do.

Well  for us school is almost over and it's our last son's graduation from high school. His graduaton is a little over a month away. Yeppie we have almost made it!!!! Well he loves his school and the colors are Purple and White. He was on the football team and did very well at football and had lots of fun doing it. We are very proud of him and are so happy that he has worked hard to pull off graduation..

I needed to make him a special card  and I think this fits just perfectly. The graduation announcments are purple black and  silver. So I thought that doing purple and silver would be perfect. For my added embellishment I wanted to make a tassel and add that to the hat in some way. For the oval I sewed two ovals together with silver thread.  Then I scrunched up the white oval on the edge.

Well I loved how my card turned out and was happy that it all came together due to limited computer access. I want to make sure to thank all of my follwers on both blogs. It really means alot to me and I hope my design team  and I send you lots of inspriation each week.

Red White and Blue

I have been very busy making 6 by 6 Layouts  with a recipe for a recipe club. My month was July. Heather from Fresh Brewed  has the cutest Hannah Bella Cooks. It was so perfect for my layouts.

So I decided for Sweet Sketch Wednesday I would chose that image for my card. That way it had a dual purpose. I had lots of fun using Heather's Sweet Hannah. Heather has so many cute images. You can find Heather's images here.

I wanted to make my layouts patriotic to represent the Fourth of July.   My Recipe is Red White and Blue Cobbler. It is made in the dutch oven and is oh so yummy. I'm sure you could use a regular pan. It's a must-try recipe.

My card was also made using the same papers. For some reason it seemed a little challenging for me. That's unusual for me . But finally it came together.

Most of Hannah was paper pieced. Do you think I was glutten for punishment. It took me all day to cut out thirteen pieces. (Next time mayby I better think twice :)

Dotted paper was My Mind's Eye stamped with a Stampin Up star in Nights of Navy. Other papers were Die Cuts with a View, and Scenic Route.

Thanks for popping on over and checking out my creations. I hope your day is filled with Joy and Happiness. Hope you go over and check out Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Lets go fishin!!!!

Hello fellow bloggers! Hope you are getting some nice sunny weather where you live. We started with some nice weather but the past few days have not been as nice. Today we had rain and it was gloomy. I'm so ready for spring. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit.  It brightens my day.

Today I have another sketch for you over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I started that blog nearly a year ago.  I have to get my brain going as I have created alot of sketches. Some how they just keep coming once I'm in the design process.

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique. They are offering the prize winner 3 free digis.  Tracey has such fun images in her shop. You will want to check out The Stamping Boutique.

If you know me and frogs... I love to design with them. I have made lots of frog crafts in my design career. So I had to have this cute frog in the pocket. If you click on this last picture that I posted, you can see that I used Crystal Effects to give the buggy eye look. In person, it's really adorable and just makes the card come alive.

I want to thank Tracey for sponsoring us again. We love working with you and your images. Everyone have a sweet day and please leave me some sweet lovin!!!!
