Let It Snow

Oh we just keep getting snow! I am hoping that it slows down soon. I saw this adorable turtle image from Bugaboo and decided with all the snow I must have it for my image for Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week. Bugaboo has such adorable images. Jodie just keeps on creating them.

The Sweet Taste of Peppermint and Hot Cocoa

It's really cold outside at my house so I could use some hot cocoa about now. I was way behind on doing my card this week. So much to do and so little time. I was asked to start teaching craft classes at my local Roberts crafts stores. I was asked last Wednesday and need to figure things out and have some displays ready for my first class. I will have another blog called Sweet Things Handmade. I hope you will follow me there too. I don't have any posts on there yet but will be getting that done in the next few days. There you will find my class projects for sell. Everything in a kit ready to put together. Also I will be selling some of my hand made cards.

Well on to this week's sketch . We are on week 81 with our sponsor Fresh Brewed Designs . Heather has so many adorable designs. She has added alot to her collection since she last sponsored us. You will want to go over to Fresh Brewed Designs and check out her SWEET Digis.  I fell in love with this adorable digi. It fits so perfectly with all of our snow as we just got dumped on today. Hope you are able to relax and spend time with the ones you love.  Thanks for being such a sweet part of my week. Merry Christmas!!! The Sweetness of Christmas  and a SWEET Sketch #80

Well it's getting a lot closer to Christmas and how many of you are really ready? I just barley got my Christmas Tree decorated. I have a very tall tree so it is very hard for a short person to decorate it. But I guess that's what tall ladders are meant for. This year I lucked out and my son, Colton, did all the work. My children know how picky I am when it comes to decorating my tree. We always have a theme and a lot of the ormanents are handmade by me. Right now I have two choices of Snowman Tree or my Santa Tree. Since my tree is in the hall and I have tile floors I opted to use my Snowman Tree as I do not want my ceramic Santa's to break. Some years I put up two trees. Either way I love both trees.

Here's a little bit of my Sweetness.

This week Sweet Sketch Wednesday is being sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique. Oh was it hard to choose a digi this month so I decided to do two cards. I just fell in love with the digis that I used. Sally continues to amaze me with her adorable creations. She comes up with new designs every month. Join in the sweet fun and play along at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and have a chance to win 6 digis of your choice from

A SWEET Thank You for all my SWEET Birthday Wishes. They really made my day. My SWEET sister really suprised me on that one as I usually check the post right down to every word. But was in a hurry last Tuesday night when I added Inlinks. So on Wednesday when I came to my blog...first I was like, how do my followers know it my Birthday?  Well to my Sweet suprise it was announced on

Well I hope you're having a joyous Holiday Season  and that the Spirit of the Holidays will brighten your days. Have a SWEET week.

My Mom always made the best pies.  Her pie crusts were so perfect and flaky....not too thick. She made Raisin, Lemon , Apple, Peach, Banana and Coconut Cream pies. My favorite had to be the Raisin and Lemon pies but I know each sibling had their own favorite.

So when I saw this image, Annies Pie, at Tiddly Inks I had to have it. Tiddly Inks is our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I love their Annie Images.

The other day I was at Joanns and saw this darling paper pack from K and Company.  Since this wasn't a Christmas image I used some papers from that pack. I picked my papers by the flowers that were in Annie's dress.
I hope you will run over to Tiddly Inks and check out their digis. They have new ones every month. Then head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out my Design Teams fab creations.
Hope you are having a SWEET day and thanks so much for all your SWEET Comments.

Penguin Fun

I had so much fun making this card from Di's Digi Downloads. Diane is our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I had such a hard time picking my image to use this time. Finally I made up my mind. I just love how my card turned out, don't you? Well, my treasure from the black Friday sale was this paper pack  from Die Cuts with a View. I really fell in love with the whole pack. So the papers used in my card this week are from that pack.  I also used my new nestie and decided I wanted to cut out my image. I hope you  go over to Di's Digi Download and take a look . Diane has new images all the time and there just so adorable. The prize is 5 digis from Di's Digi Download.

When I saw the adorable Rudolph's at Bugaboo I knew I had to have them. My sketch was a Square sketch and I wanted to do a combo of four Rudolph's.  While at the store I fell in love with this adorable new Christmas paper. It was a must have for this card. Not the traditional colors at all. But I could see these adorable digis from Bugaboo used with this paper. My sister found these really cute punches the other day when we were out shopping. Judi and Nancy took the ones and then we saw another one similar and well I took it so fast and said "Sweet." Judi and Nancy didn't even have a chance. It was the last one too. I did however say, "well, if you want it go ahead and I'll take what you have in your hand." Anyway they let me keep it and I have used it below on my card.

I think it turned out so sweet!!! Perfect for my sketch this week. We are being sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique  this week. Sally Ann has the sweetest images.  I really loved this darling girl holding that sweet cupcake. How sweet it is when your card turns out just how you want it to turn out!

My paper came from an old  Fiskars package of paper from when I was doing some design work for Fiskars. I felt like it was just perfect for this image. You will want to make sure you run over and see all the sweetness at Sweet Sketch Wednesday created by the design team.  Then head on over to Digi Stamp Boutique and check out her sweet digis there.  While you at it I love reading all your sweet comments and want to thank you for them.
