Followed My Heart

Today is Sweet Sketch Wednesday and a late post for me. Yesterday was just one of those days. It was  a  busy day and then to top it off everything went wrong. First off I could not find my stamp that I planned on using for my card. I looked for a long time on and off through out the day. It was driving me nuts. I had lost it from the night before. I was in need of this stamp set as I was using it for a card day I am having with family members. They wanted some wedding cards. So I wanted to try this stamp.

I finally found it stuck to the back of one of the three paper packs I had out. How crazy is that. Then as I  was finally trying to get my card done the power went out and was out till one in the morning. Luckly my husband had a light the I could uses to finish my card with. Nothing like stamping in the dark.

Well I was very pleased as to how my card turned out due to all the problems that I had. Thanks also to the help of my sister by loading a few more thing's  for me.  I hope you enjoy my Wedding card.  The stamp I used was from Unity kit of the month. I really had fun using this stamp. My paper came from Die Cuts with a View.
This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday it was a color challenge. Since it was halloween this week I also threw in a halloween color challenge. I didnt end up having time to do two card. So my card  was made with the origional color challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog I really enoyed all your sweet comments last week. Hope your Hallowen is filled with sweetness and delight. Have a sweet day!!!

Too Many Dino's?

Well I hope you're not sick of dino's yet. I have two more cards to show you using dinos from My Cute Stamps for my Christmas cards.  This card is for my grandson, Kaden. I hope that he is not looking. He is the one that got me on the Dino Kick. He is in first grade and knows everything about dino's. Also knows more than Grandma ever remembers. He is into acting like a dino. Grandkids can be so cute.

Since this card was for a boy I decided to use buttons. I feel that they add a fun effect to the card.

Well hope you enjoyed today's creations. Hope you will come back and join me again soon. Thanks for all your sweet comments.

Chole and the Snowball

How time flies so fast! Did you realize that it's already Wednesday again. That means it's time for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I had so much fun making my cards for this week... So much fun that I made three cards. We have a sponsor at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week. So if you want a chance to win some free digis, you will want to play along. The sponsor this week is Digi Stamp Boutique. The owner is Sally Ann and she has such adorable images. Sally also has a fun blog. You can find her blog here.

When choosing my images, I immediately fell in love with Chole and the Snowball.

My grand daughter is named Clover and sometimes they call her Chole.  This image was so darling of the little girl in her winter coat and it reminded me of my grand daughter. I don't know how well you will be able to see all the fun glitter on my card. It's difficult to photogragh the cards to look as cute as they really are.

The Christmas Tree image is a free digi from Sally's site.

Becky, the girl laying on the grass with the flowers was just too fun to pass up.

I hope you have had a fun time checking out my cards. They have been a joy to make. Thanks for stopping by and always leaving me such sweet comments.

Circus Mini Album

When my sister was here visiting, I came up with several new mini albums. We had so much fun creating all of them. The one I will show you today is from My Cute Stamps

Circus Animals collection. I can't wait to get my pics of my grandsons in them....two new baby boys in the family.  That is just so sweet.

Well if you think Holly's stamps are a hit and you are totally hooked. Then run over and check out My Cute Stamps.

Love Those Dino's

Here is another cute card using My Cute Stamps. I created this card for one of my granddaughters for Christmas. I love how the hot pinks and browns turned out. Hope you enjoy looking at my cards too.

The pink lace trim did not photograph quite in the right pink shade.  Since my camera has no flash that could probably be the reason for the color change.

I sure love that dino punch by Ek Success. It's so fun with all these dinos.
Hope you have a sweet day and come back to see more of my dino cards for Christmas.

May Your Together Go On Forever

Did you realize it isWednesday already? The week flys by so fast. We are having so much fun over at my Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog. You should make sure you come on over and join us in the fun.

This week I decided to use My Cute Stamps for my card on my Sketch Blog. I had so much fun creating last week's card using  Ashely's Blossoms that I decided I really wanted to do another one using hot pink. I had some darling paper from My Mind's Eye with birds in it. It was so fun to pair this with the stamp set. Although you didn't end up seeing the birds. I added glitter to the birds and dotted their eyes with black marker. For my Three side element I added three hot pink rihinstones. I wanted to add small orange rhinestones between the three rhinestones but then remembered I had to follow my own sketch. Sometimes it's even hard for me to follow my own sketch.

I am guest designer for My Cute Stamps this month and I have been having so much fun. Hope you keep check my blog as I have alot of things to show from My Cute Stamps this month.

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I love your sweet comments that you leave me. Please run over and visit Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Have a very SWEET Day!!!

Wedding Card

Holly from My Cute Stamps has a darling wedding set. It has several things in the set that are so fun. The bride was made by stamping on white paper then running it through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, then cutting out the dress and adding the dress to another stamped image on the white paper. I used the Martha Stewart punch for the lace on the skirt.

Then I used emboss powder on the skirt to make it look sparkly... added the velvet ribbon and pearls to make this such a elegant congratulations card. I think anyone would be happy to recieve this beauty. Hope I brought you a little inspiration for the day. Thanks for your Sweet comments that really make me smile. Come back soon! Now run on over and check out My Cute Stamps.

Supplies: My Cute Stamps, Martha Stewart Punch, Martha Stewart Photo Embossed Photo Corners, Pearls, Velvet Ribbon, Emboss Powder, Su Ink, Su Paper, K and Company Paper

Circus Animals

Well, today I thought I would add in something totally different form My Cute Stamps. I have a darling layout that me and my sister created while she was here visiting last month. I couldn't take all the credit for this project. We had so much fun creating this layout.  I will be adding my new grandson's pictures to the layout. He is such a doll. Stamps used were My Cute Stamps Circus Animals.  We used an old Sizzix die cut frame that I had. The paper was Bazzil and the printed paper was from......hmmm, not sure who the designer for that is, sorry. I bought it from Roberts Crafts. Anyway, it went so perfect together.  Thanks for stopping by to see my new layouts. Hope to see you again soon!!!

Oops, I did it Again!

Well, you are probably thinking I can't make up my mind on my blog designs. You're absolutely right. I loved my new blog . It was so vibrant with those colorful flowers. But I need to learn not to pick out designs with darker blog background paper. It starts to bug me and I feel it's hard to read. So I re-did it again . It's not quite done but close. I really like the colors of my new blog. It is the same colors I had growing up in my teenage bedroom. So I went with it. What do you think? Definitely a whole new look!

                 Do you love Halloween?

Last year my girls and I went to Gardner Village for Witches Night. It was for Ladies Only and we dressed up in witches costumes. We had so much fun so we are doing it again this year.  So I decided to make invites with my Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch for all the girls.

I loved the saying from Jen's digis at Say it with Stamps. My second card also uses Jen's digis.

Don't you just love both cards? The tree on the second card is from Unity stamps.

Well, run over and check out my new sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and be sure to play along.

Last minute add on with My Cute Stamps. This card was blog inspired. Hope you enjoy.

Check out all the fun inspiration and be sure to check out our sponsor's site. Check again tomorrow as I have a post by My Cute Stamps.
