Peace On Earth

My last and fourth card for today is another one that I created for this month's Paper Smooches Challenge. The challenge is to incorporate gold somewhere on the card. I love my new stamp set A Blessed Christmas. Their are so many possibilities with this set. I used the Cityscapes 1 to go along with my card.

First I die cut a wonky stitches rectangle from Avery Elle out water color paper. This gives some texture to the card. I sponged in my colors and stamped gold stars. Cut a cityscapes 1 out of turquoises card stock and added gold windows. Then I cut a hill die out of Kraft card stock stamped the wise men and the peace on earth. Used narrow gold ribbon, bakers twine and gold sequins.

Hope you have enjoyed my series of 4 Christmas card using A Blessed Christmas. I really love to create and I had so much fun with this set.

Joy To the World

My third card for today is another one that I created for this month's Paper Smooches Challenge. The challenge is to incorporate gold somewhere on the card.  I had so much fun using my new stamp set A blessed Christmas. Their are so many possibilities with this set.  They also have matching dies to this set.

To start with I used the middle piece left over from my shaker card. I die cut the heart in the middle. on white paper I stamped the heart image and colored it with Copic markers.  Inked my card base in gold, tied a gold ribbon and added sequins with pink stars. This card was the easiest and fastest to put together.

I sure am loving the fun colors. Hope you are to. See you in my last post for this card challenge.

Joy To the World

My second card for today is another one that I created for this month's Paper Smooches Challenge. The challenge is to incorporate gold somewhere on the card. I recently bought this really fun paper pack that had gold on it. The colors were so perfect for my card. Why not make a shaker card I thought. I had so much fun using my new stamp set A blessed Christmas. Their are so many possibilities with this set.  They also have matching dies to this set.  Also used the Cityscapes 1 in this set

I sponged my background and stamped the stars in gold. Then die cut my black cityscapes 1 and added gold windows.  Used my hill die and cut that out of Kraft card stock and stamped Joy to the World. Stamped and die cut my Angel. Colored her in with Copic markers and put Wink of Stella on the wings and hair. I took my wonky stitches dies from Avery Elle and die cut my frame. Took a transparency sheet and cut that for the window. Added two layers of foam to the back of my frame. Inside I have added gold and magenta sequins, white glitter and tiny gold stars. Added the  Angel to the out side and used three magenta sequins.

I had so much fun creating this card. See you at my next post.

O Holy Night

My first card for today is one that I created for this month's Paper Smooches Challenge. The challenge is to incorporate gold somewhere on the card. Gold is such a fun touch on Christmas cards so why not play along. I have created three other cards for this challenge but they will be in separate posts. I had so much fun using my new stamp set A blessed Christmas. Their are so many possibilities with this set.  They also have matching dies to this set.

I stamped the city on white card stock. Then sponged my inks around my image. Stamped my heart image and cut it out with the matching heart die. Colored my images in with Copic markers.  I added gold and magenta sequins  along with narrow gold ribbon and bakers twine. To top it off I used my clear Wink of Stella on the heart image. It add just a little more touch of gold.

Well Ill be back with more cards. Thanks for taking a look at my creations.

Avery Elle Holiday Tag - 25 Days of Christmas Tags

I'm playing along  at the very last minute with Avery Elle's AEIHeartU Challenge #30: Holiday Tag, and part of Tracey's McNeely's 5th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! I love the new  Snow Much Fun and wanted to play along with that set.  Been wanting to play along all month but that how my month went. Could not see to find the time.

I used the smaller Wonky Stitches dies  I stamped the sentiment on the tiny tag from that set. The snow hill was made from Simon Says Stamp hill die. Then I used the banner from the Wonky Stitches die set and stamped the second saying. The stamp set was the new Avery Elle Snow Much Fun. I loved doing the fun paper piecing.

Well I hope you enjoyed seeing my tag I really had a fun time making it. Have a Sweet Thanksgiving!

Think Pink

Well, many of you may have noticed that I redesigned my blog. I had a fun time doing the new makeover. I created this new blog banner. Sometimes we just need a change. Lately I have been using a lot of stamps for my cards. I have lots of new cards that need to be posted.  I hope you enjoy my card for today using  Avery Elle Stamps

Today I am playing along with the AEI Heart U Challenge. The challenge is to use Pink. I really had a fun time with this challenge. As many of you know, I sell Paparazzi Jewelry and our color is Pink so it is a color I have been using lot of lately.

I bought this adorable  Avery Elle Tea Time Stamp Set and Dies  a few months back and have been wanting to use them. This was my first time inking them up. I had so much fun paper piecing this set. For the background I used watercolor paper and distressed ink, added half of a cut out doily that I inked up with the distressed ink. The polka dot ribbon in my collection and it was just perfect for this card.

If you like doing Pink cards, then you will want to join me in this fun challenge. Head over at the  AEI Heart U Challenge and don't forget to Think Pink.

Until next time Have a SWEET Day!

Inner Tube Girl

I love this new image from Dearie Dolls. The images from Mary Ellen are free to use. But you should give Mary Ellen credit.   Dragonfly Journeys challenge this week is to do a card with a beach theme so I had to play along and you can too. Jeannie was one of my DT members at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Her cards are always the sweetest ever. I wanted to play last week but ran out of time. Her theme was Cowgirls and my Paparazzi  Jewelry theme is also cowgirls.  With all my decor the cute cowboy boots, wagon wheel and everything that I have for my display, it's just so fun.

I decided to do a shaker card and layer my card. background. One thing I would do differently is put the foam tape close to the inside edge on the bottom where the sequins were added. You really don't see them that much unless it's laying flat. I also used the You Float my Boat stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Darice emboss folders for backgrounds clouds and waves. My Favorite Thing Dynamics Blueprint Die and W-plus 9 die for the opening of the frame and a Simon Says Stamp die for the sand.

I was getting a lot of shadows on my card. It too late at night to be taking pictures. But hope you enjoy it anyway.  Until next time have a sweet day!

                                     Daisies

I made this card for my Mother in law for Mothers Day! I am doing Gnome cards as she has a cute set of Gnomes in her yard. She has had them for years. Just recently re painted them.  You may remember I made a boxed set for her a few years back. I am doing the same thing on Gnomes. The set I am using is a recent release form My Favorite Things created by Birdie Brown. It called  You Gnome Me.
Birdie Brown used to sponsor our blog
when she was doing her digis. So I love Birdie Brown images. Jeannie  introduced us to Birdie Brown  when she was on my design team. Her blog is Dragonfly Journey's Check out Jeannie's new challenge over at Dragonfly Journey's.  Her challenge is to make a Daisies card. It's fun and easy to play along.   I recently got this set from  Paper Smooches Denim and Daisies so I decided it would be fun to combine the two set. Well what do ya think? It been awhile since I created. Would like to start doing lots more again.  Have a sweet day everyone!
