Scaredy Cat

We have a black cat living outside in our yard. You only see him once in awhile. Not sure whose cat he really is. We have been wondering if it is a cat we had that ran away a long while ago. He never lets you see him long enough to tell.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo. Jodi always blows me away with her darling images. She creates new ones ever week. So sweet and so talented. We have been lucky to have her sponsor our challenge blog Sweet Sketch Wednesday alot in the past  2 1/2 years. Jodi is giving away 7 digis that value at $21 prize to her store.

It is so fun when you come across a inexspensive find. My embelishments came from Walmart. Can't wait to see if they have some Christmas ones coming out. The embellishments were only a dollar. So I decided why not use all the ones that matched. There were two left in the package. I really had a fun time with this card.

Well bug on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check us out. My design team always has some adorable samples using my sketch. Be sure to come back next time. Have a sweet day!!!!

Christmas with Digi Stamp Boutique

How could anyone mess up that makes their own sketch. Well, I did it again this week.  I copied the sketch, looked at it and then colored my image. From there I had it in my mind that it was a rectangle. So I used the nesti and made it a rectangle. Then I went to cut all the other pieces and realized it was an oval. I did not want to redo my image as I had spent quite a bit of time coloring it in. So I came up with the idea of cutting it out. I did not have a big enough nesti so I used an old fiskars oval that I traced. It worked out well. Then I glued it to the kraft paper and free handed the cut around the kraft paper. All in all I was very pleased with how my card card turned out.

This week our sponsor is Digi Stamp Boutique. Wow,  has SallyAnn created some darling images for Christmas. I was just over there looking around and she has lots of new ones. I just loved this nativity set. There are more images to the set. Go take a look you won't be disappointed. SallyAnn is offering 6 free digis to our prize winner at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Also run check out Sweet Sketch Wednesday. You will love what the design team has created just for your enjoyment. I hope you play along. It's so fun to see all of the cards each week. Have a  SWEET week.

Pumpkin Patch

I have had a lot of fun with my sister, Judi. We have had several craft runs and have worked on some mini albums. I was having so much fun again I almost forgot to do my post. But luckily I remembered at the last minute.

This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday Our sponsor is Sassy Cheryl's. Cheryl has the most adorable images. I really had fun with my fall image. Cheryl has a lot of fun Halloween and fall images. We grew up on a farm and sold pumpkins so this image was so fun. It brought back a lot of memories. Sassy Cheryl's is giving away a $5.00 gift certificate.

Be sure to bug on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out the fabulous design teams work for this week. I would love to have you play along and have a chance to win a prize. Have a Sweet day!!!!

Lost a Day

Sorry for the late post this week. My sister came on Tuesday. Wednesday I was thinking that it was Tuesday and that I needed to finish my post for Wednesday. I sure had my days all mixed up. I had even forgotten to add the link to Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We were out doing our craft run so I couldn't do anything about it. Thanks to my sweet sister, Nancy, who learned how to post the link for me. Then last night we arrived home  I was getting ready to do my post and the power went out.  So we just went to BED!   So there ya have the scoop.

This week our sponsor is  Saturated Canary Digis. I fell in love with Krista's digis once I saw them. The Indian boy was so cute for fall and Thanksgiving . I decided that was the one I wanted to do.

This is Krista's Bio so that you can get to know her better!

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Well thanks for stopping by this week. Hope you have a SWEET Day!!! Hugs Arlana
