Howdy

It was so much fun having my sister come to visit. I worked on coloring some of my images for my cards this next month and Nancy did the same and made a card. We always have so much fun together. But we did miss Judi and wished she could have been here too. We love our sister time and we are all very close.

I knew the moment I saw this cowgirl that I had to have her. She was just so much fun to create with. I fell in love with the paper I bought just for this card. I decided to use SWEET as my sentiment because I think she is very sweet.

Each week just seems to fly by and then it is time for another post for my Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog. But ever week we just seem to have a blast over there. Memories of Childhood

Oh, did I fall in love with this adorable Night Time Bear from Meljen's Designs. It reminded me so much of Christmas and my childhood. I remember sleeping in my sister Nancy's room. I was little and so excited for Chirstmas. My sister kept telling me to get to bed or Santa would not come. She was out in the hall finishing this darling Pajama bag for me. When I woke up Christmas morning it was sitting in the middle of the tree. It was purple and was a monkey with long legs that hung down. Nancy has always been very talented and very crafty. This required lots of sewing talent. I just remember being so excited.

Far Far Away

Do you ever feel like you would like to go on a journey far, far away? Well, I just love this Christmas scene from Bugaboo Stamps. It really is a fun digi. Put your thoughts far away in the place called Bethlehem where the Savior was born. I love the building far off in the distance. Mary and Jopseh and a long journey to get to Bethlehem. This digi depicks that perfectly. I could only image that they had to travel through the dirt or desert. So I decided to uses rich colors along with the desert sand color. I also imagined riches as when the wise men came. So that idea brought in the jewels.

If you think it far away from Christmas then think again . There is less then 4 months. That time will fly by fast. So that is why you will see me starting my Christmas cards now. This images is so perfect for Christmas cards. Bugaboo Stamps has several Christmas images in this line. It just so fun you will want to run over and check them out.
