Just Buggin Along

Well I finally did it. I have been telling you I was going to add vinyl to my car . It's  all finished except for adding my SweetPursenality.miche.com on the back. I love how it turned out. The only bad thing is that my husband is now stuck driving my car to work with flowers on it. He is a mechanic at a mine so you can only know what all the guys are probably thinking.

Sally Ann of  Digi Stamp Boutique had the perfect image to go along with my bug this week. I knew I must use it to go with my post. Some time when putting things in the bug you feel that crowded that you would love to put things in top of the bug. But it also surprising how much stuff you can really pack into that small bug. Sally Ann is giving away 6 free digi images to our winner. Be sure to go over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check us out and play along. Sally Ann has some adorable new digis you could go check out. You just may want to get this adorable  VW BUG digi.

I'm giving my prize away at Sweet Sketch Wednesday today. If you placed an order for my sweet SweetPursenality party you may be the winner. So head on over to Sweet Shetch Wednesday to find out.
Well hope you'll will bug on back again next time. It's always so fun to get your sweet comments. Have a sweet day!!!  HUGS

The Old Chair

We are thrilled to have with us Deidre Mosher Designs, formerly Shirley's 2 Girls. Deidre is offering a $10 gift certificate to our grand prize winner at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. So be sure and play along.

Allow me to introduce you to Deidre, and here's a little bit about her:
"I have been in the business of art for over 25+ years. Starting out as a fashion illustrator, moving into Art Direction, where I did everything from print to TV...and eventually I found my way back to illustration. My art is just plain fun and my love of color is clearly evident in the designs I create. I'm currently licensed with a variety of companies...my designs are used on craft products, greeting cards/paper products, kitchenware, business products and such.
I am first and foremost an...Illustrator and Designer. I am inspired by seriously sassy & bold colors, but also love the 'wow factor' of classic black and white designs. I'm crazy for stripes and dots, and they are a repeated theme in my work.
As an Illustrator, I work in many mediums and styles, ranging from the line art to pastels...having fun adapting them to the latest project. I am inspired by some my favorite artists ...Matisse's use of bold color, Klimt's knowledge of figures and lavish attention to detail, and Gauguin's wild approach to his subjects. They are all so 'awe inspiring'! I'm happiest when I am in my studio and starting a new project...making a mess, experimenting...and even throwing paint.
Any day in the studio is a great day!

I usually get an idea when I least expect it...so when the 'light bulb' goes off...I sketch and sketch and sketch...(hence the reason I buy tracing paper in bulk). I always begin with a pencil and paper, and it evolves from there. My favorite part of the process?? EVERYTHING...from beginning to end.
"

When I saw this image from Deidre I knew I must do that one. It reminded me of my dad's farm and the old house. I remember seeing an old chair just like that at the farm. The chair was not as shinny and brand new as this one is. There would have been some rust on it and it had been well used. I asked Judi and she seemed to think it was a chair that my mom and dad had. Oh those precious memories of going to the farm and my dad being there.  He is truly loved and missed.

I added crystal effects to my chair but it didnt really show up in the picture. Had fun picking out my papers, ribbon and embellishments.

Well it's late here. Just got back for doing a Miche Party. The hostess did really well. She is way excited because she will get free products. Don't forget I am giving a prize away for my Sweet Sketch Wednesday party. All the details are on this week post at Sweet Sketch Wednesday on ways to earn raffle tickets. The orginal post is May 2.  So be sure and join in the fun. Have a sweet day!!! Hugs

Sweet Ava Fairy

This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday our sponsor is Bugaboo. Bugaboo has so many adorable images to pick from. It's always hard to choose which one you want. I have really been in the mood to do spring images though.  This image, Ava Fairy, was one of the sweetest. I had so much fun picking out my papers and coloring my image.I think she turned out to be a real sweetie. What do you think? I really love the colors.

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. TodayBugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

Prize: 7 digi stamps that value $21 to our winner at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. So why not play along and join in the fun.

Well I am loving the sun that we have had this week except for it already seems way too hot. Guess we'll have  to get use to that all over again. Hope you're having great weather where you live. Have a sweet day!!! HUGS

Sweetness of Spring

Sally Ann at Digi Stamp Boutique has the cutest spring and summer images. I fell in love with this cutie the minute I saw it. Digi Stamp Boutique is sponsoring Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week. The Designs Team has created some adorable cards for you to enjoy looking at and get inspiration.

Sally Ann has this to say about her digis.
My work means the world to me - it allows my passion to draw and create, to fit with my family life too - often the inspiration for my designs. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoy creating.

Sally Ann is giving away 6 digis to our winner.
So be sure to play along.

I really had a fun time picking out my papers. These are some that I got when my sister Judi came to visit. I am really into the turquoise colors this spring. Hope you enjoy my sketch this week. Bug on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and play along. Hope you have many sweet spring days this week.  HUGS

Wishing  Well

This week our sponsor at Sweet Sketch Wednesday  is  Digi Doodle Shop. The wishing well imageI used matches a wishing well that I have in my yard. But at the moment my husband has a weather station on the top of the wishing well. I am hoping he will put it back in the front yard were we have had it before. It's such a sweet wishing well. So much like this adorably sweet image. You will find some very sweet digis at Digi Doodle Shop. So why not bug on over and check them out.

Digi Doodle Shop

Digi Doodle Shop is the results of a mother and daughter’s love for the arts and crafts.  It was started a little over 3 years ago with a little more than 100 stamps, and has since then grown to almost 500 stamps.  Joy (the mother of this team) designs realistic images, while Judy (aka/daughter) loves the “fun side of life”, and create images with a cartoon flair.  Having these two complimenting styles have enabled

Digi Doodle Shop to offer a wide variety of stamps.

It is a real honor and pleasure to sponsor this challenge, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing creations.  We thank the design team for their incredible creations, and wish all the participants the very best of luck in this challenge.

Thank you so much for having us, and again the very best of luck to all of you.

Sincerely,

Judy and Joy

Well I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Hope to have you come back again soon. Have a sweet day!!!

Happy Easter to my Followers

Well by now you all should know that I love Bunnies. They are just so much fun to create with. I loved coloring this image from Sassy Cheryl's. Just look at all the sweetness this image provides for Easter.
Sassy Cheryl's is sponsoring Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week and we are so excited to have her sponsor us. We love and adore her images. Cheryl is giving away a $5.00 gift certificate to our lucky winner. So why not come join us in the fun.

Hi everyone! Sassy Cheryl here and I’m so happy to be sponsoring the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week.
I have been creating graphics and have licensed my work to companies such as Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Shopko, among others, for over eight years. I started creating digital images about twelve years ago. I absolutely LOVE to draw and always carry a small sketchbook for those times when a bit of inspiration hits.  It's been a lifelong dream to become a working artist, and besides deadlines, I LOVE everything about what I do!  It really helps that I have a very supportive husband and son (they also can be my biggest critics!)

Through the digis I create, I’ve met so many wonderful, talented ladies. The projects they make using my images makes it all worth it. ‘Can’t wait to see what you will create with my Sassy images.

Thanks for playing along this week… happy coloring!

Well, that wraps it up for this week. Hope you all have a Happy Easter. Be sure to come back and visit.  I love hearing from you.
