Witch's Broom

I have a bit of bad news today.  I have been banished from blogging, crafting and the internet from my doctor.  He even wrote it on a piece of paper and asked me if I understood!!!!!
So this will be my last post and card until I get a medical release to come back and enjoy my followers.
I may have to get on my SSW blog to just take a peek but I will not be doing any typing.  I hope you will all understand.  I'm not sure how I am going to survive without doing any crafting!!!

My image today is called JJ Calendar Months - October from Bugaboo Stamps.  I enjoyed creating with this image because I have crafted many witches through the years as holiday decor and porch pieces.  I popped this witch's hat and broom and added some stickles and my new resin flowers.  Hope you enjoy it!

Busy Week

What a busy week! I can't seem to get everything done. We are still working in our yard and I also had a 2 day Craft Fair. Friday we got rained out and it was cold. Turned out not so fun. Saturday we thought we were going to have another repeat. Luckily weather turned around and was better. It ended up being a good fair after all of that. I was able to get some Miche party's out of it.

Sally Ann from Digi Stamp Boutique is our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I loved using my Penguin image. Sally Ann always creates such fun images. I can't thank her enough for sponsoring us ever month.

All images/designs are created and copyright owned by Sally-Ann Hancock. My work means the world to me - it allows my passion to draw and create, to fit with my family life too - often the inspiration for my designs. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoy creating.

Prize at Sweet Sketch Wednesday is 6 free digi images from Digi Stamp Boutique

Hope everyone has a great week. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me your sweet messages. HUGS

The Christmas Angel

Well, it's been another busy week. We are still working in our yard. Have an area now that has actual lawn. There's another section almost ready to seed. I will be so glad when it's all finished.

I love Christmas time so it's fun when I can start making Christmas cards. This year I bought a new paper pack. It has some really rich papers. I knew it had the ornament paper and knew that it would be perfect with this adorable Christmas Angel. Our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday is Saturated Canary

Here is a little about Saturated Canary Digis:
My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop,Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Here Comes the Bride

I had such a fun time layer my image this week.I embossed the dress and rounded out the face with a stylist. I wanted to do this image as I find I never do enough Wedding cards.

Our sponsor this week is Deidre Mosher Designs.  Some of you may remember her images as Shirley's 2 Girls. I am so delighted to have Deidre sponsor us this week.  Her images are so fun to create with.  This week we also decided to add a theme:  Celebrating Women!  We would love you to play along at Sweet Sketch Wednesday by using an image related to Womanhood!  Let's see what you can create and if you are the lucky Grand Prize Winner this week, you will win a $10 Gift Certificate to spend at Deidre Mosher's shop.
Now a little about Deidre!

Wildly Whimsical and Seriously Sassy Art is definitely a trademark of Deidre Mosher.

I have been in the business of art for over 25+ years. Starting out as a fashion illustrator, moving into Art Direction, where I did everything from print to TV...and eventually I found my way back to illustration. My art is just plain fun and my love of color is clearly evident in the designs I create. I'm currently licensed with a variety of companies...my designs are used on craft products, greeting cards/paper products, kitchenware, business products and such.
I am first and foremost an...Illustrator and Designer. I am inspired by seriously sassy & bold colors, but also love the 'wow factor' of classic black and white designs. I'm crazy for stripes and dots, and they are a repeated theme in my work.
As an Illustrator, I work in many mediums and styles, ranging from the line art to pastels...having fun adapting them to the latest project. I am inspired by some my favorite artists ...Matisse's use of bold color, Klimt's knowledge of figures and lavish attention to detail, and Gauguin's wild approach to his subjects. They are all so 'awe inspiring'! I'm happiest when I am in my studio and starting a new project...making a mess, experimenting...and even throwing paint.
Any day in the studio is a great day!

I usually get an idea when I least expect it...so when the 'light bulb' goes off...I sketch and sketch and sketch...(hence the reason I buy tracing paper in bulk). I always begin with a pencil and paper, and it evolves from there. My favorite part of the process?? EVERYTHING...from beginning to end.

Wow have we been busy at my house. We thought we were putting in one of the patches of lawn yesterday.   But due to a trench they worked on, it didn't happen quite yet. Plus my husband is trying to finish building the manifold. But we have one section ready for seed. I imagine in the next few days it will be seeded. It will be so nice to have lawn and not huge weeds.
A big thanks goes out to my sister, Nancy, for putting my post together for me.
I had so much fun with my image. I created my spider out of a circle punch. Used my stylist and popped up the body. Add crystal effect to make it shiny.

Little Red Bug

This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday our sponsor is Pattie's Creation. You know when there is a VW bug image, it a must to used.  I had loads of fun on this card.

Every where I go people love my decorated bug. I am so glad that I put the vinyl on it. It really can bright someone's day!!!

Pattie Gomez Bio
I am an Internet Technology Professional and an Artist. I always dreamed of being an artist, but I found out quickly that I needed another field to support my family so I pursued a Degree in Information Technology. I love to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks to enhance my work.
I created a character called Pattieboop and her cat named Allie. I have had so much fun coming up with different images so I also created a site to sell them. You can go to my store to find out more about Pattieboop & Allie. I know you will just love them when you see them.
Pattieboop is an 11 year old girl who is very opinionated. She was created by me, Pattie Gomez on September 7, 2009. Pattieboop is an average 11 year old and she loves dressing up. She is very petite in nature but stands tall because her mother always told her that “If you stand tall you will one day become someone important”. Pattieboop always remembers her mother’s words and makes sure she is noticed.
Pattieboop has a favorite pet named Allie. Allie is a slender black cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Allie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief
Prize at Sweet Sketch Wednesday:  Choose 3 digis from shop
