Think Pink

Well, many of you may have noticed that I redesigned my blog. I had a fun time doing the new makeover. I created this new blog banner. Sometimes we just need a change. Lately I have been using a lot of stamps for my cards. I have lots of new cards that need to be posted.  I hope you enjoy my card for today using  Avery Elle Stamps

Today I am playing along with the AEI Heart U Challenge. The challenge is to use Pink. I really had a fun time with this challenge. As many of you know, I sell Paparazzi Jewelry and our color is Pink so it is a color I have been using lot of lately.

I bought this adorable  Avery Elle Tea Time Stamp Set and Dies  a few months back and have been wanting to use them. This was my first time inking them up. I had so much fun paper piecing this set. For the background I used watercolor paper and distressed ink, added half of a cut out doily that I inked up with the distressed ink. The polka dot ribbon in my collection and it was just perfect for this card.

If you like doing Pink cards, then you will want to join me in this fun challenge. Head over at the  AEI Heart U Challenge and don't forget to Think Pink.

Until next time Have a SWEET Day!

Inner Tube Girl

I love this new image from Dearie Dolls. The images from Mary Ellen are free to use. But you should give Mary Ellen credit.   Dragonfly Journeys challenge this week is to do a card with a beach theme so I had to play along and you can too. Jeannie was one of my DT members at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Her cards are always the sweetest ever. I wanted to play last week but ran out of time. Her theme was Cowgirls and my Paparazzi  Jewelry theme is also cowgirls.  With all my decor the cute cowboy boots, wagon wheel and everything that I have for my display, it's just so fun.

I decided to do a shaker card and layer my card. background. One thing I would do differently is put the foam tape close to the inside edge on the bottom where the sequins were added. You really don't see them that much unless it's laying flat. I also used the You Float my Boat stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Darice emboss folders for backgrounds clouds and waves. My Favorite Thing Dynamics Blueprint Die and W-plus 9 die for the opening of the frame and a Simon Says Stamp die for the sand.

I was getting a lot of shadows on my card. It too late at night to be taking pictures. But hope you enjoy it anyway.  Until next time have a sweet day!

                                     Daisies

I made this card for my Mother in law for Mothers Day! I am doing Gnome cards as she has a cute set of Gnomes in her yard. She has had them for years. Just recently re painted them.  You may remember I made a boxed set for her a few years back. I am doing the same thing on Gnomes. The set I am using is a recent release form My Favorite Things created by Birdie Brown. It called  You Gnome Me.
Birdie Brown used to sponsor our blog
when she was doing her digis. So I love Birdie Brown images. Jeannie  introduced us to Birdie Brown  when she was on my design team. Her blog is Dragonfly Journey's Check out Jeannie's new challenge over at Dragonfly Journey's.  Her challenge is to make a Daisies card. It's fun and easy to play along.   I recently got this set from  Paper Smooches Denim and Daisies so I decided it would be fun to combine the two set. Well what do ya think? It been awhile since I created. Would like to start doing lots more again.  Have a sweet day everyone!

My Sweet Love Bug

Well you all know I have a VW Bug.  Sally told me she would like me to be a guest designer at the new Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and she had the perfect image for me. Little did I know I would be playing along so soon. Well I could not resist this.  The Stamping Boutique digi fits my car perfectly.

I call it my Love Bug due to the name my Husband calls me. Which I have always thought is so sweet. He love me enough that he let me put the flowers on our bug. My husband is a mechanic. Him and another guy rotate week in driving to work.  This is the car that my husband has to drive at the moment because his bug is broke down. Plus it just get the best gas mileage.

This bug also transports all of my Paparazzi display and inventory for when I do events and partys. When I pull up to the event everyone can not believe how loaded it can be for such a small car. Its filed to the brim. There have been a few time when I take my tent that we have had to tie down the trunk to keep the back part way closed.

Our sponsor this week at SSW2 is  The Stamping Boutique.  The Stamping Boutique was one of out first sponsors at SSW I have always love there images. Be sure and head over to SSW2 and become a follower of the new blog and play along for a chance to win a prize from Stamping Boutique.

The Real Love Bug

Well it was fun to be a guest designer. I promises to be back again hopefully soon. Tell all your friends about the new SSW2. See ya again soon and Have a Sweet Day!

Ice Skating Rink

We have had so much snow this past week. It is sooooooo  Cold I can hardly tolerate it. It nice when you can be in and don't have to go out side at all. It is like and ice skating rink in some places.

I am on my way shortly to see if I can buy some boots with warm liners. Pattie image was perfect for this week. I loved the skate and figured why not double them. My add blues to the skates Was a  last minute decision. I decided on blue because of the Skate embellishment.  Our sponsor this week is Patties Creations at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

Pattie Gomez Bio
I am an Internet Technology Professional and an Artist. I always dreamed of being an artist, but I found out quickly that I needed another field to support my family so I pursued a Degree in Information Technology. I love to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks to enhance my work.
I created a character called Pattieboop and her cat named Allie. I have had so much fun coming up with different images so I also created a site to sell them. You can go to my store to find out more about Pattieboop & Allie. I know you will just love them when you see them.
Pattieboop is an 11 year old girl who is very opinionated. She was created by me, Pattie Gomez on September 7, 2009. Pattieboop is an average 11 year old and she loves dressing up. She is very petite in nature but stands tall because her mother always told her that “If you stand tall you will one day become someone important”. Pattieboop always remembers her mother’s words and makes sure she is noticed.
Pattieboop has a favorite pet named Allie. Allie is a slender black cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Allie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief
