Red White and Blue

I have been very busy making 6 by 6 Layouts  with a recipe for a recipe club. My month was July. Heather from Fresh Brewed  has the cutest Hannah Bella Cooks. It was so perfect for my layouts.

So I decided for Sweet Sketch Wednesday I would chose that image for my card. That way it had a dual purpose. I had lots of fun using Heather's Sweet Hannah. Heather has so many cute images. You can find Heather's images here.

I wanted to make my layouts patriotic to represent the Fourth of July.   My Recipe is Red White and Blue Cobbler. It is made in the dutch oven and is oh so yummy. I'm sure you could use a regular pan. It's a must-try recipe.

My card was also made using the same papers. For some reason it seemed a little challenging for me. That's unusual for me . But finally it came together.

Most of Hannah was paper pieced. Do you think I was glutten for punishment. It took me all day to cut out thirteen pieces. (Next time mayby I better think twice :)

Dotted paper was My Mind's Eye stamped with a Stampin Up star in Nights of Navy. Other papers were Die Cuts with a View, and Scenic Route.

Thanks for popping on over and checking out my creations. I hope your day is filled with Joy and Happiness. Hope you go over and check out Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

  1. Wow Arlana really like her, what a clever way to do a recipe card. Must try that, most of mine are on crumpled food-stained scraps in a big box. Love the sketch, off to try it now.

  2. Isn't paper piecing tedious? But SO worth it! She turned out perfect! I love her lil star pants. Beautiful recipe cards!
