Memories of Childhood

Oh, did I fall in love with this adorable Night Time Bear from Meljen's Designs. It reminded me so much of Christmas and my childhood. I remember sleeping in my sister Nancy's room. I was little and so excited for Chirstmas. My sister kept telling me to get to bed or Santa would not come. She was out in the hall finishing this darling Pajama bag for me. When I woke up Christmas morning it was sitting in the middle of the tree. It was purple and was a monkey with long legs that hung down. Nancy has always been very talented and very crafty. This required lots of sewing talent. I just remember being so excited.

Well, this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday we are being sponsored by Meljen's Designs. Her digis are just so adorable.

  1. Hi Arlana, love your card it's super cute, great image and I adore your colours. Such lovely childhood memories of Nancy. I have fond memories of a Ragdoll I had but as I haven't got any daughters I won't be making any for my boys. Thanks so much for such another great sketch to work with this week.

  2. Hi Arlana - you and I used the same image and it's funny, I was thinking Christmas, too, but decided to go another route. You did a beautiful job on your card.

What a sweet childhood memory you have. How special that pajama bag must've been. I remember wanting my own blow dryer when I was about 11 and my sister Karin made sure it was under the tree for me. Thanks for the little trip down memory lane.
