Since it was so close to fathers day I wanted to do a special card for my SWEET father in law. He is one of the  best dads ever. He helps us build our house. Now is is working to help is get a front yard in. He is also finishing up a chicken coop. So this image is just perfect for him. He always come with his bucket of tools.

Sweet Colors of Summer

Our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday is Digi Stamp Characters. I bought my image several months ago right after Heather Ellis sponsored us. This was the first time that I have used it. My papers came form a friend who was selling her craft papers really cheap...like I needed more papers. I loved the colors so I went with it.

It was such a fun image to use. I had so much fun with those colors and figuring things out. I knew exactly how I wanted to color it. Don't you like my colors too?

Mad Hatress

 

This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday we are featuring Saturated Canary. One of Krista's images was the Mad Hatress. That was such a sweet image.  As a lot of you know I am never with out my hat. If I don't have a hat on it just does not feel right. It was such a fun image to color up. We have been so busy on our yard. It's been so hard to get to anything blog related.  But I got this fun image done and I think she turned out SWEET. I really had a great time with those papers and colors.

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop,Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- Ilove it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight!
