AMYRS3 weekly sketch - Mushroomsosweet

I love Amy's sketches and have had a hard time getting them done the past two week. This week I finally finished one. She has such fun sketches. Here is the link to Amy's site. My card was made using Unity's May kit of the month. I really love these mushrooms.

Years ago I remember making salt dough mushroom's and putting them on a piece of wood . It interesting how mushrooms and owls have made a come back.

I was really happy with how this card turned out. Hoping that you like it to.

Memorial Day - In Loving Memory Of My MOM

Today I made a lovely bouquet of silk flowers for my mom and for my sister in laws mom. We wanted them to have something special form us. I should have taken a picture of them but I was busy with dinner and didn't think.

I did how ever want to make a card in remembrance of my special Mom . They didn't come any better. She was always so kind and loving. She always thought about everyone else. I miss the special time we spent together going shopping. She really loved spending time with me and my girls. I hope today my girls will remember all she did for them and how much she really cared about them and there well being. She spoiled them rotten as grandma always do. They spent many fun time at the frozen yogurt place and going up to the ZCMI Mall to get special cookies. She was always treating every time. As you arrive to my blog you will here music. The first song I have playing is for the Artist Andy Griggs. This Song If Heaven came out about the time my mom passed away. It one of my favorite songs in memory of my mom. It fits my mom perfectly. She was famous for her Cherry Cheese Cake. She also made the best Pies. My mother live in a town where there were fire fly's. She was a weary traveler as she passed away form Alzheimer's. She was also famous for her Christmas candy. She made the best of all kinds . Everyone always looked forward to her candy.

If my mom was here right now I would want to tell her how much I love here and thank her for all she did for me espically when I was sick. All I can say is Loved This Day with my MOM and that was every day!!! Hope you all remember your special loved ones that have passed away this day. Hope your day is filled with SWEET Loving Memories of the ones you loved....

Home Is Where The Heart Is- Mojo Monday 87

Have you seen the new Unity of the month Kit for may ? It sure is a fun kit . Here is the link to Unity.This house came from that kit and I didnt realize I would like the house as much as I do. But I sure had fun doing this Card. I need to do the Mojo Monday 87 it been a couple of weeks and now I am at the tail end but thats okay at least I am getting it done. I had to make a new card form my new Unity Stamp set. I just simple love this new kit of the month. I was busy all day making submission for a magazine with some of these stamps. Wish me lots of luck. I think it would be fun to get more Unity out there so everyone can see what they have. Doun you just love these bird cages. I have several bird house around my house for decor. I thought I would quickly share this with you. It been a long day and my computer was acting up while typing my submission. Keep deleting other lines already typed so I was very flustrated. Let hope I can make this work. I will post a supply list later. This project was made for one of my classes. The cost will be 18 and you will only be bring a couple of sheet out of your paper pack the rest I supply. Hope you enjoy this project. It was a fun one to make. Class Project

Forever

This is a card I made for my free class on Friday night. I made it on the weekend with the other two wedding or anniversary cards I posted yesterday. I really like the pink and brown on this card. Printed paper comes from that Die Cuts With a View pack Garden party. There are some adorable papers in that pack.Stamps: Unknown

As you prepare for this class look at the supplies used on wedding card listed on both posts . Bring one sheet each color for each card. If you see ribbon or rhinestones bring that also. They can be anything similar or even different. Any questions please feel free to give me a call. The regular supply list is on the side of my blog. So try to have some of those items with you as well. I will try to get the pink heart card posted tomorrow. If not please bring 1white sheet,1 light pink, I light pink printed and three small rhinestones. If you don't have those for this card you can use mine. VSN Challenge at Splitcoaststampers

I thought I would post my card from the VSN Challenge this weekend at Splitcost Stampers. I have never done this challenge on split before . It was lots of fun. The theam was Vegas and everthing centered around Vegas. There were lots of challenges and Chances to win prizes. How fun is that YEPPIE!!! SWEET!!! It was just lots of fun. My first card is Flower Fun. It was to resemble a slot machine. It was a fun sketch.

My second Card is Happily Ever After. This was a challenge from a inspired photo of a cake. the Cake photo what blue and white. I really liked how this turned out . Also you were to tie a knot. So I tied the bow.

The third card is Forever and Ever . This card was a challenge that was to have alot of bling on the card lots of glitter. So I used dazzeling diamonds. It made it really sparkley and fun.i love the color combo that I used. I will miss Kiwi Kiss when it is retired.

LOVEThis was another card challenge by Unity today for the Hip hop Thursday. That the day you can win big Prizes. How fun is that.

Today I decided to do the callenge for Unity. It was to add metal to your card. Since I dont have many stamps yet I was having a hard time trying to decided what ones to use. I made them then posted to Splitcoast Stampers. Then I went and fixed dinner. When I was able to get back on I found out I won heart of old stamp background for my card that I entered. I couldnt believe it. Its a darling stamp to. You can view it here. I have to tell you I really had fun with this one. Unity stamps are awsome. Such fun designs and they are unique. Friends House

I just got some new stamps from Unity. I pick out this set because I loved the houses. I have been collecting village house's for years and this reminds me of that. Also I just spent two years building a new house. So this set was way SWEET to me.

I really like how it turned out.

SHINE WITH UNITY

Well I got my first unity stamps yesterday and I am totally in love. The rubber is so deeply etched. One of the best qualities I have seen in deap etched rubber stamps companys. This post is for the HIP Hop Challenge at split coast stampers. Here is the link to the hip hop challenge. I ended up doing the Anniversary first stamps you owned challenge.

Some of you may know I love to wear hats and I also love to sew and create designs with sewing. I worked at a fabric store and made displays for 9 years. Creating doll patterns especially for porchs. So these stamps were perfect for me. I was so excited when I could make a trade with Bonnie Rose for then as she had duplicates. She has been so SWEET!!! I have to tell you I love them and until my set arrives from Unity I have only a few to play with. Here is Unitys site. You should go check them out.
