Sweet Sketch Wednesday Anniversary Blog Hop

Can you believe it's been one year since I started this Sweet Sketch Wednesday Blog and shortly before that... my Sweetberry Designs blog.

Part of what made me want to do this is that I am a designer and have had several things published. I knew there were alot of talented ladies out there that could use a "fun out" for the week. So I started playing with my photo shop program. I first thought it was kind of hard figuring out how to get a good looking sketch . I almost gave up. But usually anything to do with crafting or creating my own design, I don't give up. I finally came up with a main design for my sketch that I thought would work. Thus we now are one year into this. I am so happy to do this although my husband say it does not make me any money. So I hope you have enjoyed the ride with me and hopefully I can come up with many more sketches.

Are you ready for some fun? Yes!!! It’s our one year anniversary. We are so happy to have you join us in the fun. Yes, it’s been one year since Sweet Sketch Wednesday arrived in Blogland. CSN Stores

May I ask you a favor regarding an upcoming review? Take a look at the link below for the CSN Stores

The gracious people at CSN Stores have offered me any item worth $150.00 to review. With 200+ stores, CSN carries everything from cookware to sofas.

I was pretty excited about this offer. They had so many choices. I looked for hours and will be looking again as I found several things I would like.

One thing for all you ladies that do cards and want to follow my sewing but don't have a sewing machine....They have an inexpensive sewing machine from Brother. You should go check it out. For the money difference I would get the computerized stitch one as they had three models.

Well this is what I have decide to do for the review

Paula Deen Porcelain Nonstick 12 Piece Cookware Set in Red

It has to be red and I can't wait to review it. I'll show you why in my review.

Be sure to check back for the review.

Also don't forget tomorrow is our Anniversary Blog Hop for Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Oh Boy Happy Birthday

The other day when I was getting my link for my Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog I  decided to check out inlinkz some more. In doing so I came across their blog and they were doing a birthday boy contest. I thought why not I have a perfect image that I used this week for my vintage peddle car. I had a color pallet to follow plus it had to be a birthday card for a boy. I actually love this color combo. It was so fun re doing my vintage  peddle car again. This time it more bold and bright and not so vintage. I love the fun colors and how it turned out. Well this is a contest so I hope you will go and vote after the 7th if you  like my card.

I have also decided to enter this card into the Digi Doodle Challenge Blog which can be found here.

Thanks for stopping by and  Have a Berry Sweet Day. Remember only a few more days to our Anniversary blog hop.

Vintage Peddle Car

Our sponsor this week for Sweet Sketch Wednesday is Digi Doodle Shop. When they asked if they could sponsor I was so excited because right away I loved their images. She has alot of images with a vintage feel. Although I have not done alot of vintage cards I love that style. While looking for an image to use I found several and had a hard time choosing. I liked way too many. But when it finally came down to it I had to choose the peddle car. I was so glad that I did. It was so much fun to use that I knew I had to do two cards.

The first thing I thought about when I saw the peddle car was childhood memories. I had a blue peddle car when I was little. I even think there is a picture floating around some where of me with the peddle car. But I didn't have time to go and look. Oh the fun momories of that car. While I couldn't quite come up with the right blue for my card, I still did a light turquoise blue. When I saw that paper I kew that would be perfect as it had such a vintage feel to me.

Well since the days of my peddle car. I now own a big Red VW Bug which still reminds me of my blue peddle car....thus having to create the red card. I love how it turned out also.

I hope you enjoyed stopping by and that you will bug on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a peek at all the wonderful DT cards. Also while you are at it, you just might want to bug on over to Digi Doodle Shop and find your own peddle car image to play with. Hope you have a berry sweet day!!!

Sweet Field Mice

What weather we have been having here in Utah! On Monday we got SNOW. You would think we would have summer soon. We went from 80 degrees to snow. How crazy is that!

This week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday we are being sponsored by Prairie Fairy Designs. Roberta has such darling designs to design cards with. I decided to do the darling mouse holding the basket of flowers. Now you would think after dealing with fields mice last fall it would not be one I would want to do. By hey, it was just too cute to pass up. I love how it turned out, Don't you? Make sure you go and check out Prairie Fairy Designs

Well don't forgot our anniversary blog hop is coming up really soon. You will want to make sure you join in the fun and prizes. Be sure to go check out this week's cards at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and play along.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Hope your day is filled with sunshine and not SNOW!!!
